I am a Software Engineer at Facebook HQ and I love to code challenging problems. After graduating from Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay (IIT Bombay), I moved to the Bay Area to start my career as a Software Engineer.
The Software Engineer
At Facebook, I have been working on several exciting projects notably building Network Visualization tools, Software Defined Networking (SDN), Design and Implementing Routing protocol OpenR. I am passionate about driving innovative changes in the software networking. Usually I love to work on full stack :) JavaScript is one of my favorite language because of easy prototyping after C++ (as it has the best performance needed for large scale services).
During my undergrad studies, I developed BodhiTree (Online Learning Classroom), which is currently being used for blended classroom at IIT Bombay and I am still proud of it. You can find me on LinkedIn for more details about my professional career.
The Photographer
From the beginning, I had interest in collecting and organizing pictures. Bay Area is full of nature and lots of photographic places and I soon bought my first camera Leica-V-Lux-4 after moving to it. Whenever I come across a good photograph, it always questions me about how it was taken, what were the lighting conditions, how was it post processed and many more. This way I gathered more knowledge about photography and I am still learning and improving my skills everyday.
Through this page I want to share my knowledge about photography techniques along with technical details of each photograph. I have been thinking of writing some photography articles but never got around working on them.
Photography Equipments I use
- Canon EOS 6D – Full frame (I love Wi-Fi capability of the camera and amazing picture quality)
